Private beta · macOS

A coding agent that lives on your Mac.

Point it at a folder. It reads, plans, edits, runs the tests and opens the PR. Nothing is committed until you say so.

See it work

Quoka

A real thread: open a folder, ask for the change, watch it read, edit, run the tests and open the pull request.

What it does

Built for the work, not the demo.

Each of these is in the app today, not on a roadmap.

  • Answers from what it can read. Nothing changes.

    • read_file
    • grep
    • list_dir
    • web_search
    • browser_navigate
    • browser_snapshot
    • bash
    • edit_file
    • write_file
    • browser_click
    • create_pull_request
    Modes

Ask, Plan, Review, Build, Debug — enforced, not suggested.

Read-only modes never see a write tool. The allowlist lives in Rust, so a mode is a guarantee about what the agent can touch, not a line in a prompt. Try it.

  • Local

Your folder, not a copy of it.

Quoka reads, edits and runs commands on your own disk. Nothing is committed until you ask. You review a diff, not a promise.

  • Your keys

    Bring your own models.

OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Keys stay on your Mac. Claude Code and Codex run inside the same threads.

  • Threads

    Run several things at once.

Each thread is its own agent. Start a refactor, switch tabs, ask about another repo. Close the window; they keep going from the menu bar.

  • Browser

A real browser, inside the app.

The agent drives a Chromium page you can watch and take over — sign in, scroll, click. Useful for checking the thing it just built.

  • GitHub

    Issue in, pull request out.

Sign in once. Clone a repo, pick an issue, and the thread gets its own branch. When it's done, the pull request is opened from inside the thread — from your account, with your name on it.

  • History

    Your old sessions come along.

Claude Code and Codex transcripts on disk import as threads, so the context you already paid for is still there.
